Reach the far row and your piece is crowned. Crowning ends the turn, so the chain stops there.

How to play Checkers
- 1.Twelve pieces each, on the dark squares only.
- 2.Men move one square forward on a diagonal. Kings move both ways.
- 3.You take by jumping over a piece into the empty square behind it.
- 4.Taking is compulsory, and if the same piece can take again, it must keep going.
- 5.Reach the far row and your piece is crowned, which ends that turn.
- 6.You lose when you have no pieces left, or nothing left to move.

Yes. Draughts in the United Kingdom, damas in Spain and Brazil, шашки in Russia, dama in Slovenia. We play the eight by eight version with compulsory taking.
Do I have to take?+
Yes, if a take is available you must play it. If several are, you choose which one.
Can a king fly across the board?+
Not here. This is the English version: kings move one square, both directions.
Is it free?+
Yes, against bots with no account, and against a friend with one link.
Can we play on phones?+
Yes. Tap a piece, tap a square, and the board scales to the screen.
