Small and often. Ideas? [email protected]

  1. โœ๏ธ

    v1.3.15

    A blog

    • letshang.io/blog: notes from building Let's Hang, written by Primoลพ. Why tables need enough people, the pub quiz, Last Card, weekly tables, and the domain move that broke sign-in twice.
  2. ๐Ÿ’ฌ

    v1.3.14

The first words from people at the tables

    • The front page carries what people told us, word for word and with their permission โ€” starting with Michal from Czechia. It sits right under the first table now.
    • A Demo link in the header and "Peek into a room first" under the big buttons: the preview room is one click away, no sign-up.
    • The preview room shows the Screen tab from the start, so you can see what sharing looks like without looking for the button.
    • The people list on the front page shows everybody who has joined, points or not.
  3. ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

    v1.3.13

Try screen sharing in the preview, and a hard cap on email

    • The room preview has a working screen button: press it and the left side shows what a shared screen looks like, with zoom.
    • Nobody gets more than eight emails about tables in a day, whatever happens โ€” past that, it is the bell only.
    • On a phone, faces in the video never squeeze into thin strips: each one keeps a proper size and the grid scrolls instead.
  4. ๐ŸŽด

    v1.3.12

    Last Card

    • An eighth game, for two to six: Last Card. Match the colour or the number, skip, reverse, make the next one draw two or four, and pick the colour with a wild. If you know UNO or Crazy Eights, you already know how.
    • Can't go? Draw a card โ€” if it fits, play it straight away, or pass. Everybody can see when somebody is down to their last card.
    • Your hand is only ever sent to you. Everybody else sees how many cards you hold, never which.
    • Fixed: with the dark theme picked by hand, the words on yellow buttons and tabs disappeared. And with the light theme picked on a dark computer, yellow buttons turned dim.
    • The practice bots say something that fits the game you are playing.
  5. ๐Ÿ“ญ

    v1.3.11

    Fewer emails for hosts

    • Once your table's lights are on, another person sitting down is a line in the bell, not an email โ€” you already had the lights-on mail.
    • On a phone, games get a little more of the screen, and Tic-Tac-Toe and Four in a Row always fit.
    • The front page questions talk about your people, screen sharing and all seven games.
  6. ๐Ÿ†š

    v1.3.10

Screen sharing gets its own page, and a few honest comparisons

    • The front page shows screen sharing next to the games, with its own page on how it works.
    • Side-by-side pages: Let's Hang next to Google Meet, Zoom and a Discord voice channel โ€” including what they do better.
    • The footer has a Compare column.
  7. โœ‰๏ธ

    v1.3.9

Invite your people by email, and keep them

    • On a table's page, "Invite by email": type up to ten addresses, add a line from you, send. It comes from Let's Hang with your name, and replies go straight to you.
    • Everyone you invite lands in Your people (in the menu). Next time it is a tick away. Add a WhatsApp number and it opens WhatsApp with the invitation ready โ€” you press send.
    • Kind to inboxes: ten at a time, thirty a day, never the same address twice a day for the same table, and a one-click "don't send me invitations" that is honoured for good.
  8. โŒ

    v1.3.8

Tic-Tac-Toe, and small fixes you asked for

    • A seventh game: Tic-Tac-Toe. Over in a minute; the bot blocks you and takes a win, but slips now and then so you can beat it.
    • The game picker shows the game you are on, and "Waiting for players" says which game it is waiting for.
    • Light and dark switch inside the room, too.
    • Oval tables are a little rounder, so they no longer look squeezed.
    • Labels on lit table cards are readable in the light theme again.
  9. ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ

    v1.3.7

Share your screen, and tables that come back every week

    • Share your screen, a window or a tab from the video bar. It opens on the left as a third tab, Screen, next to Table and Games โ€” fit it, zoom in up to 400%, or go full screen. Tab audio comes along.
    • Every week: tick it when you set a table, and once this week's is over the same table opens for next week and everyone who sat at it gets the link. Whoever can make it, comes.
    • A new page, Use cases: friends who live far apart, family across countries, a weekly game night, your community, a remote team. Each one opens the form already filled in.
    • New topics for tables: Friends and Family.
    • Fixed: message times in a room could stop showing after a game had been opened.
  10. ๐Ÿท๏ธ

    v1.3.6

    Every table gets an icon

    • Each table has its own app-style icon โ€” its tabletop colour and pattern with the topic on top โ€” in the room, on the table page, and as the browser tab icon, so you can find the right tab.
    • The games on the front page take turns: every game plays a little by itself, and the one showing lights up in the list beside it.
    • Type /leaderboard in a table's chat to tell everyone who has the most points.
    • While a room sits in a background tab, the number of new messages shows in the tab's title.
    • Games no longer squeeze a small table in beside the players โ€” the names with the ring already say whose turn it is. The bottle keeps its big table, and got a little smaller.
  11. ๐Ÿง

    v1.3.5

    Pub Quiz

    • A new game for two to eight: a pub quiz. Everyone types their answer where nobody else can see it, then all the answers turn over at once โ€” so shouting it out on the call does not help, and the quiet one who knew gets the point.
    • Ten questions from a mix of geography, science, tech, history, food, film, music, sport, words and nature. Small typos and swapped letters are forgiven; numbers have to be exact.
    • Forty-five seconds a question. If somebody wanders off, anyone can turn the answers over when the time is up.
    • Try it against two bots at letshang.io/demo, or type /quiz in a table's chat.
  12. ๐Ÿ”Š

    v1.3.4

Sounds, and nudges inside the page

    • Small sounds for the things worth hearing: a new message, somebody mentioning you, your turn, the dice, a disc dropping, chips on the felt, the bottle spinning and landing, a win.
    • One mute for all of it โ€” the speaker button in the room and next to every game. It remembers your choice.
    • Toasts: when somebody mentions you while the chat is out of sight, or it is your turn while you are looking elsewhere, a card slides in with a button that takes you there. New notifications from the bell show up the same way on any page.
  13. ๐Ÿพ

    v1.3.3

The bottle spins on a real table

    • Spin the bottle is played on the same table you see everywhere else: everyone in their chair, the bottle in the middle. When it stops, the person it points at lights up.
    • A new bottle, too โ€” glass, a label, a cork โ€” and a little burst when it lands.
    • Every game shows the table small beside the players, with a glowing ring on whoever is on.
    • Private tables show up on the front page as locked cards: you see that they are happening, not what or who.
    • Table cards line up at the same height, the footer fits on one row, and the House table label is readable on dark cards.
    • Below the tables: what happened lately on one side, and the ten people with the most points on the other.
    • Ask the table to play from the chat: type /ludo, /poker, /four, /bottle or /chess (add @names to ask people), or pick a game from the new + button.
    • Switch to another game from the game itself. And when the last person walks away and only bots are left, the game clears so the table can pick something else.
    • The front page says "Save me a seat." again.
  14. ๐Ÿ”ด

    v1.3.2

Four in a Row, and a cleaner front page

    • A fifth game: Four in a Row. Tap a column, the disc drops, line up four. The bot takes a win when you leave one and blocks you when you are one away.
    • The home page leads with the one rule again: small hangouts that only happen when enough people join.
    • "Lately at the tables" shows only real people at real public tables โ€” no bot wins, no practice rooms, no test tables.
    • Sign-in buttons no longer say "with Google" โ€” an emailed code works just as well.
  15. ๐Ÿพ

    v1.3.1

Spin the bottle, and a room you can send to your people

    • A fourth game: spin the bottle. It points at somebody and hands them a question โ€” would you rather, never have I ever, most likely to. No winner, no score, just the thing that makes a table talk.
    • The home page leads with opening a room and sending the link, because that works whether or not anybody else is here yet.
    • WhatsApp is the first share button, and every table now has a QR code for the people sitting next to you.
    • The home page shows what really happened at the tables lately โ€” real seats, real games, nothing invented.
  16. ๐Ÿ”‘

    v1.3.0

A door for people without Google

    • The home moved to letshang.io. letshang.dev, the address bought on day one, now points here and every old link still works.
    • Sign in with a six-digit code we email you โ€” no password, no Google account needed. The old Google button is still there, side by side.
    • The code lasts ten minutes, allows five tries, and one address can ask for five codes an hour.
  17. ๐Ÿ™‹

    v1.2.5

    Small room manners

    • Hovering a face at the top of a room now tells you who it is โ€” nickname, flag, and whether they host the table. Clicking still opens their card.
    • The room preview offers all three games, not just two.
  18. ๐Ÿšช

    v1.2.4

    One door for the demo

    • The practice room lives at letshang.io/demo now โ€” one address for all three games, with the game as a choice inside it. The old /play links still work.
  19. ๐ŸŽฎ

    v1.2.3

The practice room looks like the real thing

    • Switch between Ludo, poker and chess right in the practice room, and pick how many players.
    • The Video tab now plays a small preview of a call โ€” four tiles, someone talking, one muted, the same controls โ€” so you can see the room before you sit at a real table.
  20. ๐Ÿช™

    v1.2.2

Coins, and what was played here

    • Your points and wins sit in the corner of the games panel; the same button opens what was played at this table before.
    • Ending a game now really clears the room, so the table can pick a different one straight away.
  21. ๐Ÿงญ

    v1.2.1

    Room housekeeping

    • The chat opens on the last message and pulls older ones in as you scroll up, a page at a time.
    • A game can be ended so the table can pick another one โ€” free once only bots are left in it, and always up to the host.
  22. ๐Ÿงน

    v1.2.0

A felt table, and a way to undo a table

    • Poker now looks the part: green felt, chips, a dealer button and cards that land.
    • A table nobody else sat at can be deleted outright. Once someone has a seat, calling it off stays the only way โ€” they deserve to be told.
  23. ๐Ÿƒ

    v1.1.9

    Poker at the table

    • Texas hold'em for two to six, with play money and no clock: blinds, all four streets, side pots when stacks differ, and a showdown that says who won with what.
    • Your two cards are yours until the showdown โ€” nobody else can see them, not even in the page.
    • Bots play a plain, friendly game, so a table of two can still deal a hand.
    • Try it against bots at /demo, or pick it when you set a table.
  24. ๐Ÿค–

    v1.1.8

    Sit in for a bot

    • A game that already started is no longer a closed door: take a bot's seat and play on. Walked away by accident? Take your own seat back the same way.
    • The chat opens on the last message again, even when it was hidden behind the Video tab.
    • When something stops your message or your move, the room now says what and why.
  25. ๐Ÿ‘‹

    v1.1.7

    Nudges that know what matters

    • Browser notifications now cover more than chat: someone mentioning you, your turn in a game, and anything new in the bell.
    • One switch for all of it, in Settings and in every room. It only nudges you while the tab is in the background.
  26. ๐Ÿ””

    v1.1.6

A bell instead of an inbox

    • Everything that happens around your tables now lands in a bell in the header, with the whole history on its own page.
    • Settings decides what also becomes an email: seats at tables you host, tables you sit at, reminders. Untick what you do not want.
  27. ๐Ÿ””

    v1.1.5

    Quieter inbox, louder tab

    • The room can nudge you: turn on browser notifications with the bell and you'll hear about new messages while the tab is in the background.
    • Hosts no longer get an email for every single seat โ€” at most one every two hours, and none at all while they are on the site. A full table is still always worth an email.
    • Fixed a stray word that leaked into the subject line of every email.
    • Our Discord is in the footer now, and new tables, signups and ideas land in it.
  28. ๐Ÿ“

    v1.1.4

    The call fills the room

    • Faces now fill the whole pane and arrange themselves: one person big, two side by side, four in a grid. Click someone to put them on the stage.
    • The buttons float over the video instead of taking a row, and the camera and microphone pickers open above them.
    • "Sit down" goes into our own room now, not to Google Meet.
    • The logo carries all three colours: lamp yellow, lilac and paper.
  29. ๐Ÿ’›

    v1.1.3

A new face, and a letter

    • New logo: three people leaning in around a table, in our ink, paper and lamp yellow. The tab icon is the same mark on a yellow tile.
    • The right side of a room is now Video or Chat, with the faces there by default. The table and the game keep the left side, and the chat is one click away.
    • Everyone who signs in for the first time gets a letter from Primoลพ โ€” what this place is for, and two things to try.
  30. ๐Ÿ”€

    v1.1.2

    The room, your way round

    • Faces can be bigger: one button turns the strip of cameras into a grid, and clicking someone puts them on the stage.
    • Signing in with Google works again for accounts with a long profile photo link.
  31. ๐Ÿ†

    v1.1.1

Points for showing up, and links you can say out loud

    • Points were rebalanced: sitting at a table that lights up is worth 10, hosting one 15, and a game against bots is worth 1. The whole list is on the new Points and status page.
    • Your card now shows a status โ€” Newcomer, Regular, Familiar face, Host โ€” and your streak of weeks in a row.
    • A public table can pick its own link: letshang.dev/h/friday-makers. Private tables keep their long secret one.
    • The room is easier to find: the table itself is now a door, with a button right under it that says when the video opens.
  32. ๐Ÿšช

    v1.1.0

    Open a room right now

    • A third way to set a table: "Right now". The room opens this second โ€” no minimum, no deadline. Share the link and people walk in. It stays open for three hours.
    • Live rooms sit at the top of Explore with a pulsing "Live now" mark.
    • Video got the controls you expect: blur what's behind you, and pick which camera and microphone to use.
    • With your camera off, people now see your drawn sitter instead of a letter.
    • No more yellow tabletops โ€” the lamp yellow belongs to the lights, not the furniture.
  33. ๐Ÿ’ก

    v1.0.8

    A helper in the corner

    • Every page now has a lightbulb in the bottom corner. Ask it anything โ€” it looks up real tables, tells you what's on this week, and points you to the right page.
    • Signed in, it can also grab or free a seat for you if you ask in plain words.
    • The second tab is for ideas: tell us what is missing or broken and it lands straight with Primoลพ.
    • Your conversation with it is kept, so closing the panel no longer loses it โ€” and "New chat" starts a fresh one.
    • Dark mode got a pass everywhere: the admin, the forms and every yellow badge are readable now.
    • The menu marks the page you are on.
  34. ๐ŸŽฅ

    v1.0.7

    Video right at the table

    • Tables now have video built into the room โ€” you stay on the page, next to the chat and the game. No Google Meet tab unless you want one.
    • It runs on our own server, so it works the same for everyone and nothing is recorded.
  35. ๐ŸŒ—

    v1.0.6

    Light or dark, your call

    • Choose light, dark or follow your system โ€” the switch is in the header (and in the menu on phones).
  36. ๐ŸŽฒ

    v1.0.5

    Ludo for up to six

    • Ludo now seats 2 to 6 players. Five or six get a round board; up to four keep the classic cross.
    • Practice Ludo against 1 to 5 bots โ€” pick how many players.
  37. ๐ŸŽฒ

    v1.0.4

    Games at the table

    • Every room has a Table / Games switch. Play Ludo (2โ€“6) or chess (2) while you talk โ€” the chat stays open.
    • Short a player? Add a friendly bot. Everyone else at the table can watch.
    • Wins earn points, shown on your card.
    • Try it without an account: a quick game against bots from the landing page.
    • When you set a table you can say which game it's about; it shows on the card.
    • Drag the divider in a room to give the table, the game or the chat more space.
  38. ๐ŸŒ

    v1.0.3

    Find a time together

    • New way to set a table: pick a window of days, everyone marks the hours they can make in their own timezone, and we set the hour most people can make.
    • Your timezone now follows your browser automatically โ€” also when you travel.
  39. ๐Ÿ’ฌ

    v1.0.2

    Rooms that feel alive

    • Each table has a room: the table with who's here lit up, name tags, a typing bubble, and the chat next to it.
    • Click someone to see their card and where they sit. Reactions with any emoji, mentions, /roll, /flip, /shrug.
    • Hosts can set a room topic and open the room 30 minutes early.
    • Report a message; the moderator bot takes another look, three reports hide it. Repeats, floods and links from brand-new accounts are blocked.
    • A room preview so you can see what you'd sit down to.
  40. ๐Ÿ”

    v1.0.1

    Your tables, your rules

    • Chat-only tables: no camera, the room is right on the page.
    • Invite only: you approve every seat. Lock a table when your people are in.
    • Private tables get a longer secret link.
    • Upload your own photo, use your Google picture, or keep your drawn sitter.
    • Embed a table โ€” or all the tables you host โ€” on your own site.
  41. ๐Ÿ’ก

    v1.0.0 ยท September 17, 2026 โ€” day one

    Let's Hang is live

    • Set a table about anything. It only happens if enough people sit down โ€” then the lights go on, everyone gets a Google Meet link and a calendar invite.
    • Share cards with a live preview image, calendar view, "when I'm free" planner, Discord and Slack announcements, an API and an MCP server.
    • The name came mid-sentence in a Discord thread: letshang.dev was bought forty-five minutes later, and the site was live the same evening.

Thinkingโ€ฆ

Missing something, or found something broken? This goes straight to Primoลพ.
