The face builder now offers everything the style has: 34 hairstyles including hats, headscarf and turban, 12 eyes, 13 eyebrows, 11 mouths, beards, glasses and nine tops.
Headphones and two light beards are ours, drawn on top. They show at the table too.
Every part has its own colour now: hair, hat, beard, frames, shirt, headphones and skin, each next to the thing it colours. Black hair was missing and is back.
The parts are listed down the left, so you can see all of them at once: hair, hats, eyes, brows, mouth, beard, glasses, clothes, headphones and skin. Headphones, stubble and a five o'clock shadow are drawn by us.

Avatars are drawn properly now. Pick hair, eyes, brows, mouth, beard, glasses, clothes and your own colours, and see every option drawn on your own face before you choose it.

Everything is generated on our own server. Nothing about you is sent anywhere.

There are balloons for a birthday and confetti that drops once, too. Choose it when you set the table or any time after, and everyone who opens the link sees it.
It all stands still if your device asks for less motion.

Hangouts

Emails and notifications speak the same way: for in person they say going, spot and "It's on 🎉", with the place and the activity.
What you create is now simply a hangout, online or in person: Create a hangout, My hangouts, Open hangouts. Save me a seat stays, and so do the tables, the seats and the lights.
In person, it says how many more people are needed, and "It's on 🎉" once enough are in.
In person comes first: it is the default when you create a hangout, and the first choice everywhere. Online is one tap away.

Nothing slips through

If the host takes you off a table, you get a kind note instead of silence, and the next person in line gets the seat.
A meetup that went ahead and then lost someone tells everyone going that it needs one more, and again when it's back.
On the day of a meetup, a message in its chat buzzes everyone going (at most once every ten minutes), so "running five minutes late" gets seen. Online tables stay mentions-only.
Invited someone by email? You hear when they sit down.
The news that changes your plans (it's on, a new time, called off, you're in) always reaches you, however chatty the day was. Chat has its own budget.

Always know what's happening

Hosts hear when someone leaves or can't make it, with how many are still coming — not just a line in the chat.
A host can move the time while the table or meetup is still filling. Everyone who already joined gets told the new time, in their own timezone.
When a find-a-time table settles on its hour, or the host starts it early, the note says so: "Found a time" and "Starting now".
Settings: email and phone switches side by side for every kind of news. The phone column appears once you have the app.
Meetups get meetup words in the bell and on the phone too: "is going", "can't make it", "see you there".

Meet in person

Tables can now be for meeting in real life: volleyball, football, dinner, drinks, a hike. The form starts with one question — Online or In person.
In person you pick what you are doing and where you meet. There are no cameras and no games, but the chat stays open for the details.
The calendar invite carries the address and a directions link, and the reminder comes an hour before instead of ten minutes.
In-person tables are private by default: only people with the link see the place.
Instead of a drawn table they get a small animated scene: a ball over the net, steam off two plates. The idea came from your feedback — thank you.

Act it out

A ninth game for two to eight: Act it out. One person gets a word nobody else can see and gets it across — describing it without saying it, drawing it on a shared board, or acting it out on camera. Everyone else types guesses; the first right one scores for both of them.
Everyone gets a different kind of turn the second time round. If you know Activity, charades or Pictionary, you already know how.
The word is only ever sent to the one who has it, until it is turned over. Practise against two bots in the demo — they describe their words and guess yours.
Every player card lists the games they played, with who and how it went.

Delete my account, and getting ready for the phone app

When somebody writes @yourname in table talk and you are not in the room, you get a line in the bell. Once per table every ten minutes, however chatty they are.
Settings has a "Delete my account" button. Tables you host that have not happened are called off and everyone is told; your seats go to the waitlist.
Behind the scenes: everything the Let's Hang app for iPhone and Android will need — signing in with the same account, the same tables, seats, talk and bell, and games in the app. It is on its way.

Start right now, edit, delete

Open a room right now in one click, from the front page or the top of the form. It opens this second, private, and shows you the link to send your friends.
A table waiting for its time or for more people? The host can press "Start now" and the room opens for whoever is there.
Tables that start soon are fine: instead of "that is too soon", the deadline simply gets shorter.
Hosts can edit a table: title, words, topic, game, room, who can find it, how many chairs, how long, every week. The time moves too, as long as nobody else has sat down yet.
Delete a table any time nobody else is at it, and after it is called off or over.
Questions like "Delete this table?" open in our own window now, not the browser's grey box.
A link to a table that no longer exists shows an empty table and one lost guest walking round it, instead of a bare "404".
In the light theme, the whole room is light — the table, the games and a shared screen. Ludo, Four in a Row, Tic-Tac-Toe, the quiz and Last Card all follow the theme; the poker felt stays green.
The quiz no longer says "someone is thinking…": it shows how many answers are in, since everyone answers at once.
Thomas Sanlis, who makes Uneed, said yes — his words are on the front page now.
Faces in the video are laid out for the space there is: two people in a tall panel sit one above the other instead of being cut into thin strips. On big screens the room uses the whole width.
On a phone: the room's title is readable again, and the "Send the link" window fits the screen instead of running off the side.
The game picker in a room lays out as many cards per row as fit.
The bell says more: each line shows the table's own icon with what happened on it, the person who did it with their face and flag, and when the table is, how full it is and who hosts it.
Games fill the space they get: drag the divider in a room and the board, the cards and the quiz grow with it, up to what fits on the screen.

Last Card

An eighth game, for two to six: Last Card. Match the colour or the number, skip, reverse, make the next one draw two or four, and pick the colour with a wild. If you know UNO or Crazy Eights, you already know how.
Can't go? Draw a card — if it fits, play it straight away, or pass. Everybody can see when somebody is down to their last card.
Your hand is only ever sent to you. Everybody else sees how many cards you hold, never which.
Fixed: with the dark theme picked by hand, the words on yellow buttons and tabs disappeared. And with the light theme picked on a dark computer, yellow buttons turned dim.
The practice bots say something that fits the game you are playing.

On a table's page, "Invite by email": type up to ten addresses, add a line from you, send. It comes from Let's Hang with your name, and replies go straight to you.

Kind to inboxes: ten at a time, thirty a day, never the same address twice a day for the same table, and a one-click "don't send me invitations" that is honoured for good.

Share your screen, a window or a tab from the video bar. It opens on the left as a third tab, Screen, next to Table and Games — fit it, zoom in up to 400%, or go full screen. Tab audio comes along.
Every week: tick it when you set a table, and once this week's is over the same table opens for next week and everyone who sat at it gets the link. Whoever can make it, comes.
A new page, Use cases: friends who live far apart, family across countries, a weekly game night, your community, a remote team. Each one opens the form already filled in.

Every table gets an icon

Each table has its own app-style icon — its tabletop colour and pattern with the topic on top — in the room, on the table page, and as the browser tab icon, so you can find the right tab.
The games on the front page take turns: every game plays a little by itself, and the one showing lights up in the list beside it.
Type /leaderboard in a table's chat to tell everyone who has the most points.
While a room sits in a background tab, the number of new messages shows in the tab's title.
Games no longer squeeze a small table in beside the players — the names with the ring already say whose turn it is. The bottle keeps its big table, and got a little smaller.

Pub Quiz

A new game for two to eight: a pub quiz. Everyone types their answer where nobody else can see it, then all the answers turn over at once — so shouting it out on the call does not help, and the quiet one who knew gets the point.
Ten questions from a mix of geography, science, tech, history, food, film, music, sport, words and nature. Small typos and swapped letters are forgiven; numbers have to be exact.
Forty-five seconds a question. If somebody wanders off, anyone can turn the answers over when the time is up.

Small sounds for the things worth hearing: a new message, somebody mentioning you, your turn, the dice, a disc dropping, chips on the felt, the bottle spinning and landing, a win.

Toasts: when somebody mentions you while the chat is out of sight, or it is your turn while you are looking elsewhere, a card slides in with a button that takes you there. New notifications from the bell show up the same way on any page.

The bottle spins on a real table

Spin the bottle is played on the same table you see everywhere else: everyone in their chair, the bottle in the middle. When it stops, the person it points at lights up.
A new bottle, too — glass, a label, a cork — and a little burst when it lands.
Every game shows the table small beside the players, with a glowing ring on whoever is on.
Private tables show up on the front page as locked cards: you see that they are happening, not what or who.
Table cards line up at the same height, the footer fits on one row, and the House table label is readable on dark cards.
Below the tables: what happened lately on one side, and the ten people with the most points on the other.
Ask the table to play from the chat: type /ludo, /poker, /four, /bottle or /chess (add @names to ask people), or pick a game from the new + button.
Switch to another game from the game itself. And when the last person walks away and only bots are left, the game clears so the table can pick something else.
The front page says "Save me a seat." again.

A fifth game: Four in a Row. Tap a column, the disc drops, line up four. The bot takes a win when you leave one and blocks you when you are one away.

Sign-in buttons no longer say "with Google" — an emailed code works just as well.

WhatsApp is the first share button, and every table now has a QR code for the people sitting next to you.

Poker at the table

Texas hold'em for two to six, with play money and no clock: blinds, all four streets, side pots when stacks differ, and a showdown that says who won with what.
Your two cards are yours until the showdown — nobody else can see them, not even in the page.
Bots play a plain, friendly game, so a table of two can still deal a hand.
Try it against bots at /demo, or pick it when you set a table.

A game that already started is no longer a closed door: take a bot's seat and play on. Walked away by accident? Take your own seat back the same way.
The chat opens on the last message again, even when it was hidden behind the Video tab.

Browser notifications now cover more than chat: someone mentioning you, your turn in a game, and anything new in the bell.

Everything that happens around your tables now lands in a bell in the header, with the whole history on its own page.
Settings decides what also becomes an email: seats at tables you host, tables you sit at, reminders. Untick what you do not want.

The room can nudge you: turn on browser notifications with the bell and you'll hear about new messages while the tab is in the background.
Hosts no longer get an email for every single seat — at most one every two hours, and none at all while they are on the site. A full table is still always worth an email.

Our Discord is in the footer now, and new tables, signups and ideas land in it.

The call fills the room

Faces now fill the whole pane and arrange themselves: one person big, two side by side, four in a grid. Click someone to put them on the stage.
The buttons float over the video instead of taking a row, and the camera and microphone pickers open above them.

The logo carries all three colours: lamp yellow, lilac and paper.

Points were rebalanced: sitting at a table that lights up is worth 10, hosting one 15, and a game against bots is worth 1. The whole list is on the new Points and status page.

A public table can pick its own link: letshang.dev/h/friday-makers. Private tables keep their long secret one.
The room is easier to find: the table itself is now a door, with a button right under it that says when the video opens.

Open a room right now

A third way to set a table: "Right now". The room opens this second — no minimum, no deadline. Share the link and people walk in. It stays open for three hours.
Live rooms sit at the top of Explore with a pulsing "Live now" mark.
Video got the controls you expect: blur what's behind you, and pick which camera and microphone to use.
With your camera off, people now see your drawn sitter instead of a letter.
No more yellow tabletops — the lamp yellow belongs to the lights, not the furniture.

A helper in the corner

Every page now has a lightbulb in the bottom corner. Ask it anything — it looks up real tables, tells you what's on this week, and points you to the right page.
Signed in, it can also grab or free a seat for you if you ask in plain words.
The second tab is for ideas: tell us what is missing or broken and it lands straight with Primož.
Your conversation with it is kept, so closing the panel no longer loses it — and "New chat" starts a fresh one.
Dark mode got a pass everywhere: the admin, the forms and every yellow badge are readable now.
The menu marks the page you are on.

Each table has a room: the table with who's here lit up, name tags, a typing bubble, and the chat next to it.

Report a message; the moderator bot takes another look, three reports hide it. Repeats, floods and links from brand-new accounts are blocked.

Set a table about anything. It only happens if enough people sit down — then the lights go on, everyone gets a Google Meet link and a calendar invite.
Share cards with a live preview image, calendar view, "when I'm free" planner, Discord and Slack announcements, an API and an MCP server.
The name came mid-sentence in a Discord thread: letshang.dev was bought forty-five minutes later, and the site was live the same evening.
